Checkendon StablesCheckendon is a BHS Where to Ride and Where to Train centre, with exams held on-site. We have three indoor schools, two outdoor schools, a horsewalker, xc course and plenty of sj available.
For the Horses We have large stables with wall-to-wall rubber matting, post and rail paddocks with automatic drinkers. We've also got a wash down area and drying room. Outside, there's plenty of parking for lorries and trailers. £10-£20 per night. For the People There's equal luxury in our self-contained cottage with three bedrooms (two having twin bunk-beds and one single). There's a lounge and fully-fitted kitchen, with good laundry facilities, all from £10pppn. Riding Opportunities Located on the edge of the Chilterns, near the Ridgeway, with miles of country lanes and bridlepaths. |
