Great Glen Riding

This five star riding establishment offers riding holidays with that little extra. Surrounded by the cascading hills of the Great Glen, Sonia and Graham offer tailor-made holidays for singles or families.  We have 35 years' experience in the hospitality industry and yes, we can offer to look after your horse and even your children whilst you relax in your own private hot tub This is really taking riding holidays to the next level.

For the Horses
Fully insulated concrete block stables built 2008, floodlit soft track arena, showjumps, working hunter fences, access to an international cross country course, hot and cold horse wash, daily cleared post and rail paddocks, locked and heated tack room, all food, hay and bedding supplied.

For the People
Brand new super-modern accommodation which sleeps a family or a couple.  HD TV with surround sound, fully equipped kitchen, private patio, barbeque area by the river, hot tub, gym, and children's play area.  We have a welcome barbeque and drinks on arrival, and many of the picnic lunches and barbeques are included in the rides.

Riding Opportunities
We are surrounded by beautiful rides to suit all ages and abilities, from one/two hour forest trails to the famous Great Glen Way.  For the really adventurous, we offer a ride all the way to the West Coast of Scotland, visiting the famous Eilean Donan Castle.   With the use of our Oakley lorry, you can ride sections of the Great Glen Way, together or on separate days, or enjoy rides around Glen Affric, which is reputed to be one of the most beautiful places in Scotland.

For non-riders
Or a partner who doesn't want to ride, we can offer a wealth of other outdoor pursuits and local visits of interest.  We have our own Highland Cow called 'Anna' and Shetland Sheep, with lambs in the spring for the family to brush or feed.  Anna loves being photographed - quite a momento of a special holiday.
