Low Lands FarmWe run and own two 4 star self,catering cottages. We have recently renovated some disused byres to farm stabling. There is a dedicated field and tacking up area for you to use.
For The Horses Per night per horse-paddock only - £6 Per night per horse-paddock and stables only - £10 Hay - £3 per bale Straw (for bedding) - FREE We can provide grazing and stabling for up to 3 horses. Horse boxes can be parked free of charge next to the stables. There is a gated area next to Stable 1, with hardstanding, where horses can be groomed and tacked-up. The paddocks are stone-walled for extra security and safety. Owners are welcome to bring their own feed and bedding. Owners are responsible for manure picking in paddock and cleaning stables on departure. There is a free to use hosepipe area for cleaning your horse after long ride All stables have: · Fixed, automatic, fresh water troughs/basins · Concreted floors · Wood panelled doors and partitioning · Natural daylight For The People We offer two 4 star self,catering units. We are also members of Farm Stay UK. Riding Opportunities There are many trails as we border Cockfield Fell which is open for riders. Hamsterley Forest is only a ten minute drive away with more even riding areas. Witton park is nearby for horse trials. |
