The UK's first quality assured B&B for Horses

Boreland Farm

We invite you to bring your horse to ride at Boreland Farm, a 365-acre upland sheep farm situated 12 miles north of the town of Dumfries. Follow quad bike tracks over the ring-fenced hill with ever changing views across the rolling hills of Dumfriesshire and as far as the Cumbrian Fells. School or canter in the lowland fields or practice over our cross country course set in 60 acres.

For the Horses

Two stone built stables with cobbled floors and ample grazing in view of your detached B&B accommodation. Hay/haylage/straw bedding and basic hard feed always available, tack room in the yard. Other bedding by prior arrangement. More paddocks with new Rylock fencing and temporary stabling available for small groups.

For the People

Bedrooms in newly converted steading close to stables with breakfast in the farmhouse and packed lunch by arrangement. See website for more details, location, pictures and prices for B&B and hire of XC.

Riding Opportunities

Forest trails and quiet roads in the area with ford over the river Cairn.
