A working stock farm nestled in the foothills of the Cheviots in a particular scenic setting. A very horsy family await to help you enjoy your holiday with your horse.

For the Horses

Plenty of nice fields to choose from, all sloping and with well managed grass. Two spacious old stone stables suitable for any size of horse and three smaller pony boxes with lower roofs. Can accommodate up to 6 horses and riders.

For the People

Choose from a well-equipped self-catering cottage or farmhouse B&B with dinner if required. This is a good place to stay for the Common Ridings, local shows and the Borders Festival.

Riding Opportunities

Cliftoncote offers access to a wide range of scenic local rides and organised routes. Ride up Hownam Law, explore the foothills of the Cheviots and access the Tweed Trails.

Directions

West on B6401. Drive through Yetholm and southwest towards Jedburgh, then left after 1 mile signed Sourhope. Along bottom of valley, keeping river on left and farm on right for approximately 2.5 miles over cattle grid and up drive.
