Gorsebank Equestrian
Located on an 80 acre equestrian farm nestling between Dalbeattie Forest and the River Urr estuary, Gorsebank is in a fantastic location for riding and exploring Dumfries & Galloway. We are located along the Solway Estuary, close to panoramic beaches, local towns and numerous places of interest. Enjoy the freedom to ride around our farm trails or with our own access to Dalbeattie Forest, you can access miles of forest trails. We are also ideal for families with biking trails and beaches closeby. For the HorsesA warm welcome awaits your horse here at Gorsebank, where we can offer your own quality stable with straw bedding, hay and a range of hard feed. We are also able to offer exclusive turnout or maybe your horse would prefer to share a paddock with it's travelling companion? Price range: £7.50 for grazing, £17.50 for stabling. For the PeopleCome and stay in our heated timber Wigwams, a great alternative to camping. Wigwams are like timber tents with lights, kettle and microwave allowing you to enjoy the great outdoors in comfortable accommodation all year round. Our on site facilities include a toilet and shower block, separate kitchen area and a drying room with a washer drier (small charge). Price range: £25 per night for 2 people with additional occupants £8 per person per night. Riding OpportunitiesOur XC course is set in 35 acres of meadow, pasture and woodland - we have designed a course of 22 fences over approx 1.5 miles catering for novice and intermediate riders. We have direct access to Dalbeattie Forest and it's hundreds of miles of tracks - great for fittening work! A half day ride throurgh the forest will take you to the beach where you can picnic and ride through the surf. Contact Details
