Private farmyard stable block available for visiting horses or groups with full use of facilities, including two indoor and one outdoor arena. Bowhouse is ideal for a multi- interest holiday for the whole family with an excellent activity centre on the estate. Direct access to large tracts of farmland and tracks plus a variety of woodlands for off-road hacking. Lovely beaches only a short box/trailer ride away.

For the Horses

All Equestrian Centre facilities reflect high standard of BHS approval. All horse boxes are 12 by 12 foot with automatic drinkers and all paddocks are securely fenced. The stable blocks are light and airy and many of the stables open directly onto their own yard. Each stable block has it’s own feed and tack room. Two indoor arenas, (22x32m, & 24x42m) and one silica sand outdoor arena (60x40m). Ample and spacious parking. Price range: From £8 per horse per night.

For the People

Excellent range of accommodation locally, from humble B&B's and cheap & cheerful working hotels right through to luxurious country house hotels: all within a very tight radius of the Centre. On site accommodation is available in a large caravan which sleeps 5 comfortably. Personal caravans are welcome but facilities are limited. Excellent 4star activity centre offering golf, clay-pigeon shooting, archery, and full restaurant facilities. Other local amenities include a myriad of golf courses, huge cinema complex, blue flag beaches, bowling alley, swimming pools, and shopping centres. Edinburgh is easily accessible by road or train, as are Perth, Dundee, Stirling, and St.Andrews.

Riding Opportunities

On top of all the farmland, tracks and woodland directly accessible from the Centre, there are excellent riding opportunities at Tentsmuir Forest in the North East of Fife, with it’s direct beach access. Other good places to hack in the surrounding area are Blairadam and Devilla Forests in the West of Fife.  St.Andrews beach is excellent, Leven beach is closer.  There are plenty of opportunities for riding in Fife! Horses must be boxed and transported for anything that is not directly accessible from the Centre.
