For the HorsesSorbietrees offers B&B for horses in three large stables or a big cattle court. Straw bedding always available and shavings provided by arrangement. Two grazing paddocks of over an acre each with spacious field shelters are also available for visiting horses. Some of the fencing is Rylock netting and can easily be cordoned off by electric fencing. Up to ten horses can be accommodated. There is secure storage for tack and ample parking space. Guests can choose between four spacious and attractive double/twin and one family room (STB 3 Star) with a choice of en-suite or shared facilities. DirectionsSorbietrees is situated within easy distance of the main A7 Borders Historic Route from Carlisle to Edinburgh. From the South turn off the A7 towards Canonbie and follow the B6357 towards Newcastleton. After approx. 9 miles turn right off this road to Kershopefoot and once through this settlement turn left towards Newcastleton and Sorbietrees (signposted). At the top of this road turn left again (signposted Newcastleton) and you will find us at the bottom of the hill on the left. From the North leave the A7 at Hawick and follow the B6399 to Newcastleton. Immediately on leaving the village turn left (signposted Roadhead) cross the river bridge and bear sharp right. Sorbietrees will be found after approx. 1.5 miles on the right. |
