Threshold Centre scenery

Thresholds is situated at the northern end of the prehistoric trackway, known as The Portway, on top of The Long Mynd at nearly 1400 feet above sea level. From Thresholds you can ride across The Long Mynd including joining The Jack Mytton Way. Ride UK / Ride Shropshire routes are also easily accessible, with one route actually passing Thresholds. Other well marked bridleways in this beautiful countryside will enable you to explore less well known parts of The Long Mynd and Stiperstones area.

For the Horses

We offer grazing for up to 5 horses and can accommodate up to 7 horses stabled on a DIY basis. Grazing is in a paddock with water supply and can be partitioned to separate horses if required. Ample storage for carriages and parking for horse boxes. Price range: From £12 per horse per night.

For the People

Basic camping with W.C. (shower facilities by appointment within our house). We work closely with local Bed & Breakfast establishments to help you enjoy your stay.

Riding Opportunities

Bridleways are well marked. Possibility of exploring both Long Mynd and Stiperstones areas. Laminated maps of routes provided with interpretative material to help riders enjoy the experience. Hire of Sat Nav Garmin eTrex Legend Cx which have the routes stored in the memory.
