A warm welcome awaits you and your horse at family run Redden Farm, the last farm in Scotland. This 1000-acre working farm is set in beautiful extensive grounds on the banks of the river Tweed. Enjoy hours of scenic hacking on the farm grounds or try out the cross- country schooling course on the neighbouring farm. The Murray family have been breeding horses for eventing and point-to-point for a long time and the farm is the perfect base for competitions.

For the Horses
Three spacious stone stables suitable for any size of horse and two smaller stables. There are two turnout paddocks available, one with field shelter. Haylage, straw and shavings bedding always available. Secure tack storage. Large car park for trailers/lorries. Price range: From £10 per horse per night.

For the People
Spacious bedrooms in traditional farmhouse with lovely views to surrounding countryside on the banks of the river Tweed. There are four large bedrooms to choose from - 1 Double, 2 Single and 1 Family. You can watch your trusty steed grazing from some of the bedrooms overlooking the stable courtyard. Price range: B&B from £25 per person per night.

Riding Opportunities
1000-acre farm with lots of circular rides including long stretches of canter along the riverbanks. Farm backs onto disused railway line with miles of hacking. Short drive to circular ride around Bowmont Forest (horses can be boxed to starting point by arrangement).

Directions
From Kelso take B6350 (Cornhil/Tweed Road) on the South side of the river and follow for 2 miles to Sprouston village. Redden is second farm on the left after another 2 miles.
