The BarnIf you are looking for a holiday with your horses then you will be made most welcome at The Barn, Beechcroft, just south of Worcester. Here you and your family can enjoy the comforts of a lovely 4* self catering converted barn with the knowledge that your horses are happy in adjoining well built stabling and grazing. Worcestershire offers beautiful countryside to explore both on foot and on horseback with many rides right on our doorstep or a short box away. Fun rides are advertised locally from time to time and there are various equine establishments for events nearby. If you enjoy hunting why not have a day out with our local hunt The Croome and West Warwick or Worcestershire, Ledbury or North Ledbury Hunts.
For the horses The horse facilities include up to 3 good sized stables, a feed room, a lockable shed, two adjoining small paddocks (one with a few old fruit trees) plus a 3 acre grass field over the road, visible from the main bedroom. All fields have horse or stock netting around and may or may not have our sheep grazing them too. There is plenty of room in our yard for horse boxes and trailers. We usually have straw available but would ask that you organise any hay/haylage or shavings that you require. Countrywide Farmers are only 8 miles away in Malvern and Upton upon Severn. For the people The Barn is situated just off Stonehall Common on our small holding. It accommodates up to 6 persons, and is well equipped for a relaxing stay. It is 3 miles to the M5 J7 and the outskirts of Worcester, and only 12 miles to The Three Counties Showground if you are showing or competing there. Amenities are close by including many good eating establishments. . Riding Opportunities A network of local bridleways and Stonehall and Kempsey Common provide immediate access to the beautiful Worcestershire countryside, whilst a short box opens other opportunities for great rides, for example, around the Malvern Hills, Castlemorton Common, Bredon Hills and the Wyre Forest. Directions Only 3 miles from M5 J7. Take the B4084 towards Pershore. Take the first right signposted Littleworth/Norton, into Woodbury Lane. Take the first left into Littleworth, by The Retreat Pub. Go through Littleworth. At the T-Junction, by Norton Parish Hall, turn right, signposted Pirton/Hatfield.
