Ledard Farm

Ledard is a working hill sheep farm in the Trossachs facing Loch Ard, Ben Lomond and The Queen Elizabeth Forest.

For the Horses

Fourteen loose boxes, 35 acres of mixed grazing available in four paddocks including a stunning 6-acre park adjacent to the Loch where the horses can even swim!

For the People

Four light and airy, newly refurbished twin bedded bothies with toilet and shower block. Two-bedroomed cottage under construction. Adjacent four-star hotel with self-catering chalets. B&B on offer.

Riding Opportunities

35,000 acres of the Queen Elizabeth Forest with miles of off-road riding and stunning views on the doorstep. A cross –country training course will be set up on the loch side field within the next year.

Other Services & Facilities

The “Quack Commandoes”, a sheepdog and duck display team operate out of this venue, which is the home of The Scottish Sheepdog School. There is also a .22 indoor rifle range and clay pigeon shooting available on farm. There is also a banqueting hall and a bar – this is a fine venue for a party! All the facilities of the marina on Loch Ard are on your doorstep.
